The mission of Crisis Cam is to empower citizen journalists and investigators to:
• Upload time and place identifiable video assets to social media.
• More rapidly correlate crisis scene footage, to build event timelines.
• Reduce errors and complexity in analysis.

The app is super simple. All you need to do is film crisis footage with Crisis Cam and upload it to your social media platform of choice. You can also use footage recorded via other camera apps and process it with Crisis Cam, and upload to your social media platform of choice.

Crisis Cam will utilize the embedded attributes of the iOS video you recorded to visually embed the exact time and frame stamp of the footage, as well as the precise geo location data.

Thats all we do. However, if you have been on the analysis side of citizen filmed crisis footage then you will completely understand just how beneficial these attributes become for that activity. There will be no more guess work.

The watermarked footage will be added to a Crisis Cam album in your iOS Photos app. This is the video you should upload to social media.

Good luck, and please provide us feedback on what features you want to see next. We have many ideas are are trying to prioritize what will be most helpful to this community of videographers and analysts.

Thank you for helping us return trust to journalism.
